Are you our new Business Development Manager?

Location: Netherlands

GEODIS is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to strengthen our Contract Logistics team in the Netherlands.

If you enjoy developing new business, building strong customer relationships, and designing smart supply chain solutions, this role offers the opportunity to work with international customers and colleagues in one of the world’s leading logistics organizations. 


Your Role

As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding GEODIS’ contract logistics activities in the Benelux region. You will focus on identifying new opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and converting complex supply chain challenges into innovative logistics solutions. Your target accounts will mainly be within the retail, healthcare, high-tech / consumer electronics, and industrial spare parts sectors. Working closely with operations, engineering, and support teams, you will translate customer requirements and tenders into competitive logistics solutions and present them to customers at senior decision-making levels. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and opportunity development through to contracting, supported by our CRM system (Salesforce). This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment with colleagues across Europe and beyond.

Vereisten

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field

  • At least 5 years of experience in a commercial or business development role

  • Strong understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry

  • Experience with contract logistics or complex supply chain solutions

  • Ability to develop new business opportunities and strategic customer relationships

  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English

  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong team collaboration skills
