Facility Coordinator

As a Facility Coordinator at GEODIS FF Netherlands - Amsterdam you have a challenging and interesting job to perform.

You coordinate and supervise designated facility activities of external vendors. You ensure continuity in business processes related to facility matters. You are in close contact with the Country Head Air, the Operations Manager - Warehouse, internal and external parties and the Facility Department located in Rotterdam.

Your daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinating the work in consultation and at the direction of the supervisor of his assigned external parties. Supervises the targeted progress of work and compliance with standards and norms.
- Monitoring, guaranteeing and recording the quality of the work.
- Ensuring an optimal working environment.
- Taking care of reports and administrative processing regarding service and maintenance.
- Coordinating preventive/corrective maintenance with the Country Head Air and suppliers.
- Identifying bottlenecks in work processes. Proposes and solves bottlenecks and problems in consultation with the site manager
- Supporting technical extensions/changes.
- Managing (maintenance) reports.
- Participating in projects as requested by supervisor.
- Is responsible for his own safety and that of his colleagues and complies with the instructions.
- Giving solicited and unsolicited advice on quality standards to supervisor within the entire site. Is actively involved in the improvement of the logistical process.
- Coordinating facility issues
- Monitors and guarantees (procedures/guidelines concerning) safety and cleanliness, reacts alertly to signals that influence safety and informs the site manager.

Must haves:
- Completed education at MBO level towards engineering or facility management. 

- Knowledge of SAP & Planon is an advantage.
- Knowledge of facility management and technical work.

- Proficient in Dutch, English is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the logistics sector. 

- Communicative strong and able to communicate on different levels.
- Knowledge of organizational processes.

- You have an Air Cargo Employee certificate.

Prior to the start of employment, you must request a VGB. a MLV and other relevant certificates.
