(Lead) SAP Consultant GEODIS

Location: Netherlands

GEODIS is looking for an ambitious SAP Consultant to strengthen our SAP team in the Netherlands.

As our leading Consultant, you are in the driver's seat when it comes to conceptual development of flexible logistics IT solutions for our new and existing clients in SAP ECC 6.0 WM and SAP S4/HANA EWM.

Given we’re logistics provider for multiple clients – no day is the same at GEODIS and you’ll regularly learn new businesses and their logistics requirements. You’ll be responsible for implementing new customers, delivering change requests for existing customers and 3rd level support to keep the lights-on. You’ll take full ownership to deliver best solution to our customers, from defining our client’s business needs, aligning with other stakeholders at GEODIS, to teaming up with your developer and translating those needs into the most effective and functional SAP solutions.

-  solid experience as a (lead) SAP EWM Consultant, developing and supporting warehouse IT solutions at Logistic Service

Providers, consultancies or within a large company;

- excellent communication skills;

- experience in working with developers to create custom solutions for our customers;

- additional knowledge of other SAP Modules including SAP MM/SD/TM and SAP FIORI is preferred;

- additional experience in working in SAP ECC 6.0 WM and migrating customers from SAP WM to EWM is preferred;

- ability to act as the ‘last line of defense’ resolving 3rd level issues with basic ability to debug;

- ability to constructively challenge other stakeholders and team members to create best solution for our customers;

- experience in connecting SAP with 3rd party solutions including robotics preferred;

- experience in upgrading cloud-based SAP ECC or SAP S4/HANA landscape to latest version is preferred;

- your strong project- and stakeholder management skills and fluency in English; Dutch fluency is preferred

- an insatiable appetite for continuous improvement and the latest technologies and tooling;

- relevant education, such as Computer Science or a Technical, Logistics or Business equivalent;

- willingness to learn new functionalities and solutions.
